Magawish Island & Orange Bay Boat Trip
See two of Hurghada’s most photogenic islands in a single day. This shared boat trip runs the same easy program as our classic Orange Bay day, but visits Magawish Island first. We collect you from your Hurghada hotel in the morning and settle you on board with breakfast as the boat leaves the marina. About an hour later we tie up at Magawish Island, a calm stretch of white sand and shallow turquoise water on the southern edge of the Giftun National Park. You get a full hour and a half to swim, walk the wooden boardwalks over the water, pose at the famous MAGAWISH sign and the golden heart frame, and grab a drink at the beach bar. Back on board we cruise to a nearby reef for one snorkeling stop, where mask, snorkel and fins are handed to you on deck and your guide briefs the reef in your language. Fresh-cooked lunch is served on the open deck while we head to Orange Bay, the turquoise lagoon travel guides call the Egyptian Caribbean. You get another full hour and a half on Orange Bay to swim the shallow lagoon, ride the beach swings and walk the boardwalks before we cruise back to Hurghada. Soft drinks are unlimited all day and hotel drop-off is included. The trip departs every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and costs 30 euros per person.
